Singaporean rice

Preparing rice base:

Ingredients:

• Basmati Rice: 2cups (fully boiled with 1 tbsp salt)
• Peas: 1/2cup(half boiled)
• Chicken cubes: 2pieces
• black cumin seeds: 1tsp
• black pepper powder: 1tsp
• ginger juice: 1tbsp
• soya sauce:1tbsp
• butter or oil: 2tbsp

Heat oil in a pan and add Chicken cubes, black cumin seeds and peas and fry it for 1 minute on high flame.
Add boiled rice, ginger juice, black pepper powder and soya sauce to the pot and fry for a while. Now cover and put to steam (on dum) for 15 minutes. Stir occasionally.

Preparing chicken Manchurian:

Ingredients:

• chicken breast: 1/2 kg (julienne cut)
• Chicken cubes: 2pieces
• Chopped Onions: 2tbsp
• tomato puree: 1/2cup
• tomato ketchup: 1/2 cup
• dark soya sauce: 2tbsp
• chili sauce: 2tbsp
• ginger & garlic paste: 1tsp each
• paprika or red chilies powder: 1tsp
• black pepper powder: 1 tsp
• butter: 2tbsp
• sugar 2 tbsp
• 1 tbsp. corn flour mixed in 1/2 cup water

Take a pan, fry onions, ginger-garlic paste in hot oil or butter for about 1 minute. Then add chicken to it and cook till turns to light brown and is done properly.

when the chicken is cooked add the crushed chicken cubes, tomato ketchup, tomato puree, dark soya sauce, chili sauce, sugar, crushed black pepper, paprika, 1 cup of water mix well, cover and cook for 5 minutes on medium flame. Stir occasionally and add corn flour mixture and cook for another 3 minutes.
Now the Manchurian is ready.

Preparing spaghetti and veggies:

Ingredients:

Carrots (lightly boil them): 1cup
• Green Capsicums: 1pieces
• Red Capsicums: 1pieces
• Tomato and onion: 1 each
• Cabbage (sliced) : 2cups
• spring onions: 1cup
• ginger & garlic paste: 1 tsp each
• Spaghetti (boiled): 2cup
• Fried and chopped eggs: 2
• paprika or red chilies powder: 1tsp
• Soya sauce: 2 tbsp
• Ketchup: 4 tbsp
• Oil: 1/4cup
• Chili sauce: 2tbsp(optional)
• black pepper powder:1 tsp

Heat the oil in a pan, add the onions and ginger-garlic paste and fry until they are translucent.
keep the flame high and add the cabbage, carrots, black pepper, paprika, dark soya sauce mix it then add the spring onions, green chilies, capsicums, tomato, mix it and sauté for 4 minutes.

Then add in the boiled spaghetti and mix it well, add the cooked eggs and ketchup and mix it well.

Preparing sauce

• mayonnaise: 1/2 cup
• Ketchup: 4 tbsp
• Sugar: 1 tsp
• red chilli powder: 2 tsp

Mix all the ingredients and set aside.

Assembling:

Put rice in a serving dish, then place spaghetti and lastly put chicken mix on top. Sprinkle sauce and some fried green chilies.
