Sweet yogurt(mishti doi) recipe July 26, 2016January 26, 2016 by Sumona Sumi Sweet yogurt Ingredients: Milk: 2litre Sugar: 1/2cup Plain Yogurt: 1cup Caramel syrup: 2tbsp(0ptional) Procedure: Heat the milk and sugar in a heavy bottom pan and reduce it to half of its original quantity. Caramelize the sugar in a pan and mix it with the thick milk. Now let it cool to a lukewarm temperature (around 45 degree C). Now mix the yogurt with the lukewarm milk and whisk thoroughly. Now take a strainer and strain this mixture into a large bowl. (This will remove lumps that may have formed.) Pour this mixture into a dish or container keep in a warm place for (10-12) hours. Or preheat your oven at 120 degree C and bake this for 70 minutes. After baking let it cool completely then refrigerate it. Or preheat your oven at 190 degree C for 15 minutes and turn off the heat. Then put the container into the oven for 6-8 hours. Then refrigerate it. Serve chilled.
