
Fish tikka
- Fish fillet/boneless fish: 1kg (cut into 16 pieces)
- Thick Yogurt: 1/4 cup
- lemon juice: 4tbsp
- tandoori masala/ tikka masala: 2tbsp(optional)
- tomato ketchup: 2tbsp
- Ginger paste: 1tbsp
- Garlic paste: 1tbsp
- Red chilli powder : 2 tsp
- Coriander powder: 1tsp
- Cumin powder: 1tsp
- Salt: 1tsp
- Ghee : 1/4cup
- Red or orange food color: 1/2tsp
Wash and cut the fish properly.
Mix all the ingredients in a bowl and add the fish pieces and toss to coat the masala evenly.marinate this mixture for at least an hour or preferably overnight.
Place fish on a greased baking pan and bake for 20 the minutes on a preheated oven.
or
heat 1/2 cup oil in a pan and place fish pieces with the marinated masala into the pan.Then cook on high flame until it becomes crispy and tender.
For bbq flavor, take a piece of coal and place it on a small steel bowl in the center of the pan, then add a few drops of butter to the lit coal and cover the pan so that the smoke is retained inside and gets absorbed by the fish tikka. Open the dish in 2 minutes and discard the coal.
