Mini hotdog


Mini Hotdog:

For filling:


1. Meat mince 1 cup
2. Chili sauce 1 tbsp
3. Soya sauce 1 tbsp
4. Salt ½ tsp
5. Black pepper ½ tsp
6. Flour 2 to 3 tbsp
7. Oil as required
8. Garam masala powder 1tsp
9. mayonnaise 2tbsp
10. tomato sauce 2tbsp
Marinate meat mince with chili sauce, chilli garlic sauce, soya sauce, salt and pepper for 10 minutes. Sprinkle flour and mix well. Heat oil and fry meat mixer till light golden.
Now apply 2 tbsp of mayonnaise and 2 tbsp of tomato sauce with the meat.mix well.

For bun:


  1. 2 cup flour
  2. 1 tsp salt
  3. 1 tbsp sugar
  4. 2 tsp instant yeast
  5. 1/3 cup warm milk
  6. 1 egg and 2 tbsp oil
In a large bowl, combine flour, salt, dry yeast, sugar .then add oil to the mixer. Add ½ 0f an egg and mix it. Then add warm milk and start kneading using your hands. Mix to a soft and slightly sticky dough.
Turn the dough out onto a well floured surface. Knead well for 5 minutes, sprinkling the surface with flour from time to time if the dough starts to stick.
Make the dough into a ball and place in a lightly greased bowl. Cover and place in a warm place until the dough has doubled in size.
Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface. Knock the dough back and cut into 6 pieces.
Flour your hands and shape each piece into a egg shaped ball. Take a ball of dough and stretch/ roll it out to about 4″ x 2″.
Brush the pastry with remaining ½ of egg yolk .you can season with sesame seeds before you put these into the oven.
Wait for another 30 minutes so that it ferments.
Cook for around 25 to 30 minutes on 200C (400 F) pre-heated oven.


Take a hot dog bun and make a long slit in the middle deep enough to stuff the meat filling. Stuff some filling in the the slit and then garnish with some tomato sauce and mayonnaise.
