• Fish sauce:1tsp
• Garlic(chopped): 1tbsp
• Black pepper: 1tsp
• Onion (chopped): 1/2 Cup
• garam masala: ½ tsp
• salt to taste

Heat oil in a frying pan and add the chopped onions and garlic and cook until softened.
In a mixing bowl add beef, red chili powder, garam masala powder, tomato sauce, fish sauce, black pepper, bread crumbs and salt and mix well. Add cooked onion and garlic mixer.
Pour in the egg and ensure that it has been mixed right the way through the beef and onions.
Divide the mixture into 3 equal portions. Shape each portion with your hands into a patty about: 10cm in diameter and 1.5cm thick.
Heat a small amount of oil in a frying pan and shallow fry the patties for about 10 minutes per side on medium heat.
Serve the patties on the buns; top with lettuce, sliced tomato, sliced cucumber, a slice of cheese (if you like), a touch of mayonnaise or mustard or whatever other additions you prefer.
