Fish burger


Fish burger:

Preparing fish patties:


  • Fish fillet/boneless fish(salmon, tuna, pangas etc) pieces: 500 mg (wash and cut into small cubes)
  • Lemon juice: 2tbsp
  • Green chilies: 4
  • Chopped onions: 1/4cup
  • Chopped ginger and garlic: 1tbsp each
  • Chopped coriander leaves: 2tbsp
In a food processor/chopper add all above the ingredients and make a coarse fish keema mixture, do not blend very smooth.
  • Mashed potato: 1cup
  • Black pepper powder: 1tsp
  • Tomato sauce: 2tbsp
  • Zest of one Lemon
  • Beaten Egg: 2
  • Breadcrumbs: 2cup
  • Oil for frying
Now add mashed potato, salt, tomato sauce, lemon zest and pepper powder with fish keema, mix well. Make 8 round patties.
Dip each patty into beaten egg, then in breadcrumbs. Refrigerate it for 30 minutes. Shallow fry until golden brown and crisp from both sides.

Preparing burger:

  • Burger bun: 8
  • Mayonnaise: 1/2cup
  • Tomato sauce: 1/2cup
  • Lettuce/salad leaves
Slice each bun and toast them lightly. Spread mayonnaise and sauce on the bottom half of the bun. Place lettuce and burger patties over it and then cover with the top half of the bun.
Serve with fries.
