Prawn kofta biriyani:
Ingredients:
For kofta:
- Small or medium prawns: ½ kg
- Onion paste: 2tbsp
- Ginger paste: 1tsp
- Garlic paste: 1tsp
- Green chilies paste: 1tbsp
- Bread crumbs: 1/4cup
- Egg white: 2
- Salt: 1tsp
- Turmeric powder : 1tsp
- Roasted Cumin powder: 1tsp
- Garam masala powder: 1 tsp
- Cornflour:2 tbsp(mix with 1tbsp water and make paste)
For kofta gravy:
- Onion paste: 1/4cup
- Ginger paste: 1tsp
- Garlic paste: 1tsp
- Ghee: 2 tbsp
- Mustard oil: 2 tbsp
- Coconut (milk): 1cup
- Bay leaves:1
- Salt to taste
- Sugar: 1tbsp
- Paprika or Red chilli powder: 1tsp(I used paprika)
- Roasted Cumin powder: 1tsp
- Garam masala powder: 1 tsp
- Grind to a fine paste:(1/4cup fried onion(beresta),2tbsp raisins, some nuts)
For biriyani:
- Basmati or chinigura rice: 1kg(5 cup)
- Water:10 cup
- Powder milk:1/4cup
- Green chilies: 10
- Ghee: 3tbsp
- Salt to taste
- Cardamom : 4
- Cinnamon: 3
- Whole Onion :1
- Ginger slice: 1tsp
- Garlic slice: 1tsp
