Chicken lasani


  • Chicken: 1/2kg(boneless and cut into 2inch long pieces)
  • Oil: 2 tablespoons
  • Mustard seeds: 1 tea spoon
  • Nigella seeds: 1 tea spoon
  • Fennel seeds: 1 tea spoon
  • Salt to taste
  • Red chili powder: 1 tea spoon
  • Turmeric powder: 1/2 tea spoon
  • Paprika or chili flacks: 1 tea spoon
  • Ginger paste: 1 tea spoon
  • garlic paste: 1 tea spoon
  • tomato ketchup: 1/2cup
  • yogurt: 1/2cup
  • mayonnaise: 1/4cup
  • Green chilies: 5
  • Garlic: 5 cloves
  • Butter: 3 tablespoons



Marinate the chicken with mustard seeds, nigella seeds, fennel seeds, ginger garlic paste, turmeric and red chili powder and leave for an hour.
Heat oil in a pan on medium flame and add marinated chicken pieces with spices and cook until oil separates (around 10 minutes).
In a small bowl, add mayonnaise, yogurt and tomato ketchup and mix well. Now pour this mixture over the chicken and mix very well. Then cook the chicken for 10 minutes on low flame and turn off the heat.
Now heat butter in a pan, add garlic and green chilies and fry for 1min.then pour it over chicken and serve hot with plain rice.
