Crispy Baked eggplant (oil less)


  • Eggplant: 3(cut into ½ inch thick rounds)
  • Black pepper powder: 1tsp
  • Salt: 1tsp
  • Turmeric powder: 1/2tsp
  • Chaat masala: 1tsp
  • Egg: 1(beaten)
  • Breadcrumbs: 1cup


Add 1tsp salt with the eggplant slices and mix well. Let it rest for 30 minutes. now press and drain all excess water from all eggplant slices using hand.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (180 degrees C). spray or brush 1tsp oil into all over the baking pan.
Mix breadcrumbs, turmeric and pepper powder, salt, chaat masala into a bowl.
Now dip each slice in egg and then coat with breadcrumbs mixture.
Place all eggplant slices into baking tray.
Bake one side of eggplant slices 10-12 minutes then flip and again bake 10 minutes.
Serve hot.
