Hot & sweet Chicken wings:


For chicken marinade:

• Chicken wings: 8 pieces
• Salt to taste
• Black pepper: 1tsp
• Paprika or red chili powder: 1tsp
• Ginger paste: 1tsp
• Lemon juice: 1tbsp

For chicken fry:

• Flour: 1/4cup
• Corn flour: 2tbsp
• Salt: 1tsp
• Oil: 2tbsp

For hot & sweet sauce:

• Soy sauce: 1tbsp
• Tomato sauce: 2tbsp
• Chilli sauce: 2tbsp
• Chopped garlic: 2tbsp
• Sugar: 1tbsp
• Green chili: 5 (chopped finely)
• Coriander leaves: 2tbsp
• Vinegar: 1tbsp
• Oil or butter: 1tbsp



Mix chicken with the marinade ingredients. Refrigerate at least 4 hours, or overnight.


Mix flour, corn flour and salt and pour into a zip lock bag or into a plastic bag.

Place the chicken pieces into the flour bag and shake the bag properly.
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Place wings in a baking sheet covered with parchment paper. Bake for about 30 minutes, until wings are firm.
Or you can fry the chicken pieces instead baking.
Heat oil in a pan, add chopped garlic and all the sauces ingredients with 1/4cup water except coriander leaves.
Cook for 2 minutes and add fried chicken pieces. Gently mix the chicken with the sauce and cook for another 2 minutes.
Add coriander leaves and turn off the heat.
Serve hot.
