Chicken fajitas

Ingredients for chicken marinate

  • chicken breasts: 2(wash and cut into long thin strips)
  • ginger garlic paste: 1tsp each
  • olive oil: 2 tbsp.
  • paprika powder: 1tsp
  • oregano: 1tsp
  • red and black pepper powder: 1/2tsp each
  • cumin powder: 1/2tsp
  • lemon juice: 2tbsp


  • red capsicum: 1
  • green capsicum: 1
  • chopped onion: 1(medium size)
  • coriander leaves
  • tomato sauce or hot sauce or chili sauce: 1/4cup


In a bowl, mix all the chicken marinate ingredients and marinate it for 30 minutes.
Now grill the chicken strips or bake.


Heat the oil in a large frying pan and fry the chicken until golden brown and almost cooked. remove chicken pieces from pan and set aside.
Now in the same pan, Add the onion and peppers and continue to cook until softened. Add 1/2tsp red chilli powder and cook for a further minute. Stir in the tomato sauce and heat gently. Turn off the heat and sprinkle coriander leaves.
Place warm tortillas on serving plates. Divide the chicken and pepper mixture between the tortillas then roll up.
Serve immediately with yogurt.




  • All purpose flour: 1cup
  • Baking powder: 1/4tsp
  • Olive oil: 1tbsp
  • Salt
  • Luck Warm milk
Mix flour, baking powder and salt in a bowl. Add oil and rub well. Gradually add warm milk, knead very well and make a smooth dough. cover and let it rest for 20 minutes.
Divide the dough into 6 balls. Roll each ball into thin ruti.
Heat a pan and toast each one until both sides cooked perfectly like plain ruti.
cover and set aside.
Serve warm with can be stored into refrigerator for further use.
