Deep fried pizza


Deep fried pizza:


For topping:

  • Grated mozzarella and cheddar cheese: 1cup
  • pizza sauce or Ketchup:3tbsp
  • cooked beef o chicken: 1/4cup
  • capsicum: 1/4cup(optional)
  • dried oregano:1 tsp
  • egg: 1(beaten)

For dough:

  • All purpose flour: 2cup
  • Instant yeast: 2tsp
  • Sugar: 1tbsp
  • Salt: 1 tsp
  • Milk powder: 2tbsp
  • Oil: 2tbsp
  • Warm water as needed


  • Oil for deep frying


In a bowl, add flour, sugar, salt, milk powder and yeast.mix very well.
Add oil and mix it. Now slowly add warm water to the flour mixer. Knead it well and make soft dough. Knead until you have smooth, springy dough.
Place the ball of dough in a large flour-dusted bowl. Cover the bowl with a damp cloth and place in a warm room (or in a warm oven) for about 1 hour until the dough has doubled in size.
Once rise, divide the dough into four pieces.


Roll them out to about 1/4inch thick ruti and allow them to rest for 5 minutes. Take a sharp knife or fork and make tiny slits all over the base. This helps the pizza rise evenly during frying.


Heat a pan on high flame, add about 2cm of vegetable oil and fry each pizza for 30 seconds or so on each side. Remove from oil and place on a paper tissue.


Once all the bases are fried, spread the pizza sauce on top of the crust.
Sprinkle grated cheese and arrange the chicken or beef,8finally sprinkle 1tbsp beaten egg and dried oregano on top.
Now Heat a frying pan and place the pizza into the pan.Cover and cook over low heat for few minutes (about 5 minutes) or until the cheese melts.
Serve hot.
