Fried custard

Preparing custard:

  • Boiled Milk: 1/2litre
    • Powder milk: 1/2cup
    • Corn flour:1/2cup
    • Vanilla flavored Custard powder: 2tbsp
    • Egg yolk: 2
    • Sugar: 1/4cup
In a bowl add all the above ingredients and whisk well. Make a smooth mix and Make sure there are no lumps.
Add the custard mixture into a saucepan and cook on medium heat, stirring continuously until it becomes thick.


Turn off the heat, pour the thick custard in a tray and let it cool completely. refrigerate for 3 hours.
Then cut the custard into cubes using wet knife.


Making fried custard:

  • Breadcrumbs: 1cup
  • Beaten Egg: 2
  • Powder Sugar: 1/4cup
  • Oil: 1/4cup
Now dip custard cube into beaten egg then coat with breadcrumbs.
Heat oil and fry each custard piece until golden brown.
Sprinkle powder sugar and serve hot.
