Korean Fried Chicken

Chicken marinating:

  • Chicken: 1(cut into 10 pieces)
  • Salt: 1tsp
  • Black pepper powder: 1tsp
  • Red chili powder or paprika: 1tsp
Mix all the ingredients with chicken pieces and marinate it for 20 mins.

Chicken frying:

  • Flour:1/4cup
  • Corn stratch: 1/4cup
  • Rice flour: 1/2cup
  • Egg: 1
  • Oil for deep frying
Mix flour, corn flour, rice flour, 1/2tsp salt and egg and lay the chicken pieces in the mixture to coat.
Heat oil in a pan on medium flame.
Take chicken pieces and gently drop into oil and fry for 10 minutes, turning occasionally, until golden brown and crisp.
For more crispiness take the fried chicken and fry them again (optional).

Saucy coating:

  • Oil or butter: 2tbsp
  • Chopped garlic: 2tbsp
  • Tomato ketchup: 1/4cup
  • Chili sauce: 2tbsp
  • Chili flakes: 1tbsp
  • Soya sauce: 2tbsp
  • Sugar: 1tsp
  • toastedsesame seeds: 2tbsp
Heat oil in a frying pan, add garlic and fry it. Now add all the sauces and cook the sauce until it bubbles.
Add the hot chicken pieces into the pan and mix well with a wooden spoon to coat with sauce.
Now sprinkle chilli flacks and sesame seeds and mix them well.
Serve hot and enjoy…
