Soft butter naan


Soft butter naan:


For dough:

• All purpose flour: 4cup
• Instant yeast: 3tsp
• Baking powder: 1/2tsp
• Sugar: 2tbsp
• Salt: 2 tsp
• Milk powder: 1/4cup
• Oil: 5tbsp
• Mashed potato: 3/4cup
• Yogurt: 3tbsp
• Warm water as needed
• Butter and sesame seeds for brushing


In a large bowl, add flour, sugar, salt, milk powder, baking powder and yeast.mix very well.
In another bowl, add mashed potato, oil, and yogurt and mix it. Now mix this mixture with the flour mixture and add enough warm water to make soft dough. Knead until you have smooth, springy dough.
Place the ball of dough in a large flour-dusted bowl. Cover the bowl with a damp cloth and place in a warm room (or in a warm oven) for about 1 hour until the dough has doubled in size.
Once rise, take out the dough in floured surface and divide the dough into 16 balls.


Roll out each ball using flour and mark with with knife or fork .let them rise for 10 min.
In a small bowl, mix 1tbsp salt with 1/4cup water.
Heat tawa and apply little salty water on Naan bread and then place watery side Naan on hot tawa, so Naan stick easily on tawa.


Turn the tawa and roast all side of the Naan directly on flame till golden brown spotted.(see picture)
Turn the naan again and brush some butter and sprinkle some sease seeds over the naan and cook for low flame for 1min.
Serve hot and enjoy….
